I am an environmental and labor economist at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. My research focuses on how beliefs affect decision making, the role of forecasts and other informational interventions in shaping beliefs, and the ways that taking these factors into account can change our understanding of important issues ranging from routine time use to the damage from climate change. I also have a research agenda trying to convince myself that leisure can improve my labor productivity (see here).
